Introducing Paph. druryi sp. Ethically sourced and is seed cultured in an approved research lab facility, This Paphiopedilum species is native to the Agastyamalai Hills in south India, and it produces single blooms with hirsute green-yellow coloration and purple medial striping. Petals near the base feature dark spots, and the lip is pale yellow with a furrowed base. Following its introduction to Europe, many hybrids were developed. You could select the plants either with 3 or 4 growths.

The medium use for growing is a mix of Forest soil and leaf litter.

As always, water low in salts is a must. Plants should be kept evenly moist and provided with moderate light similar to the phalaenopsis.

Paphiopedilum orchids are also called ladies' slipper orchids as the lip of the flower resembles a lady's shoe. Paphiopedilums flower on each new growth once matures, with the older growths remaining on the plant to provide energy for the new plants. Older growths will eventually die off as new growths continue to emerge.
