Sedirea japonica, or 'Nagoran' as the Japanese call it, is a captivating little plant found in the subtropical forests and cliffs of Japan, the Ryukyu Islands, Korea, and parts of China. It grows between 600 to 1400 meters and has a unique Phalaenopsis-like leaf structure. Its small size adds to its charm, and its greenish white flowers emit a delightful scent of lemons and ginger. The taxonomists have renamed it 'Phalaenopsis japonica', It is better to call it Sedirea due to its distinct structure and cultivation.
