Please be careful with the watering as the Sphagnum moss medium retains too much moisture. The medium could take up to a week to dry. Other medium like Pine bark dries within 1 or 2 days. Medium may dry faster or slower depending on the weather conditions. Description

Asconopsis Irene Dobkin 'Elmhurst'  is a rare cross between a Vanda & a Phalaenopsis, Phal. Doris x Asctm. miniatum. The flowers are a lovely peachy orange. They are a color that is never found in Phalaenopsis earlier, They are not large flowers but extremely beautiful. Produced on a branching inflorescence of about 20 flowers. This cross loves to be grown like a phalaenopsis and not like a vanda. Grow it with your other phalaenopsis, provide this one with slightly higher light.
