Chiloschista is a lovely leafless orchid which is also commonly known as 'Root Orchid'. Chiloschista lunifera Red is a species native to Burma, Thailand and Laos, produce dark red flowers. These plants are leafless & remain so almost throughout the year. The plant looks like a crown of fleshy roots which flowers on 6-inch long flower spikes, the flowers are also fragrant and smell like baby powder. These plants need good levels of humidity to do well. Water them well every day.
