Dendrobium orchids can be grown as indoor plants as long as they get a sufficient amount of light & air circulation.

  Light

This plant prefers bright indirect light, but can tolerate medium indirect light. Plants grown under ideal light will have apple green leaves and plants which are not getting enough light will have dark green leaves. Learn more about light here 

 Watering

In Coconut Husk medium water retention is more compared to Pine Bark, so plants in Coconut Husk may require once in 2-3 days watering compared to 1-2 days watering in Pine Bark.  Medium may dry faster or slower depending on the weather conditions. Dendrobium anosmum Var. Alba X Nestor is a hybrid of two soft cane dendrobiums. The flowers are large and fragrant. The canes of these plants are about 2 metres long. 
These plants are mounted, and need water to be sprayed everyday. 

Soft cane dendrobiums are generally easy to care for, and therefore very popular. The flowers grow from the nodes of the canes, rather than on a flower spike. Thin flexible leaves, deciduous (shed their leaves). Small buds appear on each node of the cane in spring. The plants need the winter rest from heavy fertilizing. Good exposure to light throughout the year helps them bloom well.
