Dendrobium orchids can be grown as indoor plants as long as they get a sufficient amount of light & air circulation.

  Light

This plant prefers bright indirect light, but can tolerate medium indirect light. Plants grown under ideal light will have apple green leaves and plants which are not getting enough light will have dark green leaves. Learn more about light here

In Coconut Husk medium water retention is more compared to Pine Bark, so plants in Coconut Husk may require once in 2-3 days watering compared to 1-2 days watering in Pine Bark.  Medium may dry faster or slower depending on the weather conditions. Fertilizing

Dendrobium Sweet Dawn is a soft cane hybrid dendrobium with very attractive and long-lasting flowers. A cross between Den. Dawn Maree X Den. scablingue. The dark lip of the flowers is striking on the soft off white flowers. The canes have very fine hair inherited from the ancestor Den. formosum. They can bloom more than once a year. These plants do not have any medium so water twice a day in our hot weather. These are very easy to care for. Need stronger light, like the Vandas.
