 Watering

Vandaceous plants require daily watering and in the summer probably twice a day. Spray the water on the roots until the grey roots turns green. You can also soak the roots once in a week with fertilizer water, if the plants appear dehydrated.  Learn more about watering here

Description

Vanda Pachara Delight orchid can bloom multiple times per year. Perhaps one of the true blue of the Vanda hybrids. Flowers have fine tessellation—a very striking colour. One of the Vandas always in demand. 

These orchids are all epiphytic. They do not like any potting medium. Vanda orchid must not be allowed to dry out entirely. Saturate the roots with water over time you water, which means the roots should turn green and retain a drop of water at the tip. Watering of these Vandas must be done with care to prevent water from remaining in the crowns ( top leaves), a condition that can cause crown rot.
