 Watering

Vandaceous plants require daily watering and in the summer probably twice a day. Spray the water on the roots until the grey roots turns green. You can also soak the roots once in a week with fertilizer water, if the plants appear dehydrated.  Learn more about watering here

Description

Vanda Rapeepath PINK is a superb hybrid of two beautiful Vandas. The inflorescence is upright with a lot of well arranged fragrant flowers. A cross between Prra. Bangkok Sunset × Van. Pine Rivers. The fragrance comes from the parent Vanda Bangkok Sunset. This is a Pink form which means the pink color is very prominent in the flowers. The pink edges with the rust coloured centre and the dark pink lip in the flowers looks very festive. 

These orchids are all epiphytic. They do not like any potting medium. Vanda orchid roots must not be allowed to dry out entirely. Watering of this vandaceous species must be done with care to prevent water from remaining in the crowns (top leafs), a condition that can cause crown rot.
