Vandaceous plants require daily watering and in the summer probably twice a day. Spray the water on the roots until the grey roots turns green. You can also soak the roots once in a week with fertilizer water, if the plants appear dehydrated.  Learn more about watering here

Description

Vanda Thanchai Gold x Udom Gold #37 is a hybrid of the two. This vanda has lovely fresh rounded two tone flowers, Looks like there is a heavy influence of Vanda sanderiana alba in the genetics.

These orchids are all epiphytic. They do not like any potting medium. Vanda orchid must not be allowed to dry out entirely. Watering of this vandaceous species must be done with care to prevent water from remaining in the crowns (top leaves), a condition that can cause crown rot. Watering should be regular, every day, allow the roots to dry a bit between watering.
