Cattleya Bc. Amethyst Orchid Plant - BS Without flowers

Brassocattleya Amethyst is a beautiful orchid hybrid with long, pointy leaves and a vibrant green color.  This is a primary hybrid, a cross between Cat. purpurata Sp. X Bc. cucullata sp. lovely dark & light purple flowers with the long pointed edges of petals like the Bc. cucullata, The lip seems to have taken on the parent purpurata. When in bloom, it has uniquely shaped flowers with a sweet, night-scented fragrance. This hybrid combines the best features of its parents, Cattleya purpurata and Brassavola cucullata. It thrives in bright, natural light. The flowers could vary in shape/size & color from one plant to another.
