Pleione is an epiphytic and lithophytic miniature orchid species called the Early Blooming Pleione, produces big, fragrant flowers. Early Blooming Pleione is native to southwestern China, India, Nepal, Vietnam, north Thailand and Myanamar, where it grows in primary highland cloud forests on mossy trees and the rocks below them. We will be shipping the plants without any leaves.

Short drop shaped, maroon-greenish pseudobulbs, these plants arrived to us without any medium so they do not have any roots. This species prefer about 50%-70% shade and should not be placed in full sun.

The Early Blooming Pleione need good air movement. Place them near the bottom of the shade house where it is coolest and humidity highest. Misting is beneficial in very hot weather.

Ever since we had seen these orchids in bloom in the Netherlands, it was on the wishlist & now we could procure them.
