Vandaceous plants require daily watering and in the summer probably twice a day. Spray the water on the roots until the grey roots turns green. You can also soak the roots once in a week with fertilizer water, if the plants appear dehydrated.  Learn more about watering here

Description

Renanthere philippinensis X Vanda falcata is a cross between the two Vanda orchids. A hybrid that stays compact and produces orange-red flowers like the Renanthera parent. The spurs of the flowers are unique and are given by the falcata parent. The parent Vanda( Neofinetia ) falcata is the first orchid ever to be grown as a house plant in Japan in the 1600s. It is also known as the Samurai Orchid.
